The MiMa Club (which also includes the Peperittima) was founded by the Boni family, who embarked on their official adventure in the hotel sector in May 1957. There were still no roads in Milano Marittima when Gigliola and William Boni (parents of Piero, Sandro, Paola and Massimo) built the first hotel of the group – the Hotel Majestic. Today it is managed by their son Sandro Boni.
Piero Boni and his wife Angela have been running the Hotel Solemare for thirty years with the same enthusiasm as ever, keeping alive the tradition of family management together with their children Flavio and Serena. In 1998, Paola Boni had the idea of opening the B&B Isabella, the third premises of the MiMa Club group.
In 2010, the Peperittima bathing establishment was added to provide a complete service. The name comes from the desire to create a new reality with entertainment, fun and tradition: pepe (energy) rittima (end of milano marittima 100 years). On 10.07.2019, a powerful whirlwind completely destroyed the peperitima beach and caused damage to the structure. Because there was already a project at hand, the complete restructuring began in January 2020. The new look provides more space and services in a unique setting and in harmony with nature.
Finally, between 2024 and 2025, the new Balance Hotel was also acquired. It is a 4-star hotel located in Milano Marittima, just a few steps away from the other hotels of the Mima Club.
This charming town on the Romagna Riviera has constantly been carrying out improvements, covering itself with coloured lights, opening clubs and organising charming evening events, thereby also leading to the continuous renewal and redevelopment of the MiMa Club facilities. One thing has remained unchanged: the great love we have for our work and for our guests… is a timeless passion!
